Medident Technologies Approved for Funding from the Government of Canada to Support Development of its Innovative Plasma-Based Instrument Sterilizer

Larry Whitehead, President & CEO of Medident Technologies (the “Company”), is pleased to announce that, pursuant to advisory services provided by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (“NRC IRAP”), the Company has signed a contribution agreement for up to $50,000 in funding from NRC IRAP to support the next phase of development of its ground-breaking plasma-based instrument sterilizer. These funds are both non-dilutive and non-repayable and will be available through January 31, 2019.
“This investment by the Government of Canada plays an important part in advancing innovation, accelerating the growth of Medident’s business and stimulating the Canadian economy” says Mr. Whitehead. “The funding represents approximately 1/3 of the initial project costs and Medident is honoured to launch this important step in its product development with the support of NRC IRAP.”
