Medident Technologies Announces Registration under BC’s VCC Tax Credit Program

Medident Technologies (the “Company”), announced today that it has been registered as an Eligible Business Corporation (EBC), under the Small Business Venture Capital Act.
“This registration authorizes the Company to issue a 30% refundable tax credit for all new investments made by BC residents up to March 1, 2019,” President & CEO Larry Whitehead explains. “The registration is timely as funds raised will support the continued development of our ground breaking plasma-based sterilizer in partnership with Victoria based StarFish Medical.”
The small business venture capital tax credit program encourages investors to make equity capital investments in BC businesses, in order to help them grow and to stimulate the provincial economy. The tax credit is available to both individuals and corporations (non-refundable) and may be carried forward for up to 4 years.
